One of the first projects completed as Northwest Timber Works in Spokane Wa on the south hill. Built for one of the most genuine man I know Eric Klamper, a good friend and his amazing beautiful doctor wife Kate Lyn. This project was supposed to be a Timber entry cover that I elaborated on and added the cover over the garage entry to tie it all in. I also added some Timber to the gable opposite side of the entry. A final touch and gift to my friends was the entry door to the house. Opening the small space inside and vaulting it to match the Timber ceiling allowed for a transom window above the new entry door and really compliments the whole project. The original garage doors were 2- 7’ wide and 6’6” tall doors. In order to make room for a full 16’ wide by 8’ tall door I had to cut the entire roof section loose and jack the whole thing up 30”. The final product transformed this into a Craftsman home suited for the south hill.
